Did you catch the courtroom artist with the huge computer screen?
Exactly. To those people who say the visual effects suck: compared to what? A $200 Million feature film? Even by that standard the CGI is better than a lot of characters from the not-too-distant past. (I’m trying to avoid looking directly at you, Zombie Deepfake Grand Moff Tarkin.)
OMG!
The two-part episode features James McAvoy, David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Sandra Oh, and Arthur Darvill
Won’t get to watch it until later, but looky!
Nice!
“Arthur Darvill (the great Rory Pond)”
the great Rory Pond
Rory taking Amy’s last name tracks.
Really hope they continue to do this outside the main storyline.
With regard to that, which stories would people like to see? So many to choose from but i’d probably like to see the boarding school story (Dead Boy Detectives origin) from Season of Mists or “Ramadan” from Fables & Reflections.
Totally, Amy was a total BOSS, love my Amelia Pond
We have more bad news for animation lovers today. HBO Max has announced that it’s pulling more animated shows from its menu, per Deadline.com. This follows the news that the streaming service is pulling back on its animated content before combining...
Rory taking Amy’s last name tracks.
That’s one of my favorite lines in the show. (S5E13 The Big Bang)
AMY: You absolutely, definitely may kiss the bride.
DOCTOR: Amelia, from now on I shall be leaving the kissing duties to the brand new Mister Pond.
RORY: No, I’m not Mister Pond. That’s not how it works.
DOCTOR: Yeah, it is.
RORY: Yeah, it is.
I can never remember names for the arcs or stories, other than a few… is Seasons of Mist the one in the pub that’s sort of outside of time/space? That’s one of those anthology like ones, if I’m remembering correctly.
Season of Mists is the Endless family drama one with Morpheus getting the keys to hell because Lucifer has set free all the demons and abandoned it, the story about Charles Rowland in boarding school is like a secondary story throughout.
Thanks! I’m shit at that kind of nerd-lore.
My fave storyline, though, is Brief Lives… because, well…
I have no idea what this show is about, but I guess that’s like its brand—like, all will be revealed in the last two minutes of the last episode
America's first female president (Kim Cattrall) visits Stockholm and her special advisor (Greg Wise) is a creep to his Swedish counterparts.
Est. reading time: 3 minutes
The American accents are … not good
Sounds kind of like Inside Number 9.
Won’t get to watch it until later, but looky!
My favorite episode so far!
My favorite episode
It was very bittersweet viewing, for me. Triumph after tribulations.
This was an interesting recommendation, with a good balance of comedy and drama:
Emergency is a 2022 American thriller comedy-drama film directed by Carey Williams and written by K.D. Dávila, based on their 2018 short film of the same name. It stars RJ Cyler, Donald Elise Watkins, and Sebastian Chacon as three college students who must weigh the pros and cons of calling the police when faced with an unexpected situation. The film had its world premiere at the 38th Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2022, where Dávila won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award. It began a l...
Isn’t that Delirium?
I only vaguely remember that section…
