Nadja: “That attic is full of precious memories of us putting our trash up there!”
Because it is?
And I say that, completely sight unseen.
Lots of goodwill squandered with that particular fandom.
Ha, even Bruce got a chance to break the fourth wall in the second episode.
Bruce: “That fight was so many years ago, I’m a completely different person now — literally.”
Jennifer: [looks directly at camera and makes face]
Didn’t realise ep2 had dropped. Tonight sorted, thank you.
And I’m back.
Turns out ep2 was only 25mins.
Thoroughly enjoyable, nicely off-the-wall, but wanted more (though that’s on me).
Still, haven’t finished “The Boys Season 3”, so it turns out I have back-up entertainment.
You noticed that as well?
4 & a half minutes worth of credits…
Yeah, all the boys and only one woman got 45 minutes plus…
A typical broadcast sitcom episode is just 20-22 minutes without commercials. I think we’ve all had our expectations raised by other high-budget streaming shows in longer formats, but compared to the crappy TV shows that most of us grew up with we’re still way ahead in both runtime and production values.
Then again, the episode length for Ally McBeal was about 45 minutes, so maybe that’s a fair comparison…
I can scarcely imagine what the people who keep complaining about the CGI quality in She-Hulk would think of Ally McBeal…
I’ve just checked and ep1 was only a few mins longer. Felt like crammed more in, though.
Dunno, my memory may be faulty, but was Wanda (scarlet witch) the same length?
Not gonna give up on this, though, still plenty enjoyable.
Yep, long credits. But I did enjoy the mid-credit snippets - hang the TV here, carry the water etc.
That family knows how to make the most of a hulk.
I just checked, roughly 1/2 an hour.
So, it seems only Ms. Marvel got a big time slot, while other women got the 1/2 hour unless they were paired with a major male MCU character.
And Groot only gets a few minutes.
With HBOMax dumping content left and right, I was worried about the show. I’m happy more’s coming.
Me like!
Also… just started this new little show, might not have heard about, something something Rings of Power? Yeah. I dig it
So, loving the Umbrella Academy.
But, season 3 ep 4, 10 mins in they do that high-pitched tone that usually means someone has been in an explosion, so temporarily deaf or something. 2 mins later they do it again.
It fucked with my tinnitus like nothing I’ve heard before.
Like some sort of feedback loop.
I lost a few mins of plot because it was literally causing me pain and I had to skip.
Apart from that, loving it!
Ive been binge watching “The Orville” with the missus. Season one was dopey. Season two was very different, more mature (?). Just started season 3 now and it seems like it has gotten better again.
