Slightly off topic, but I am a huge fan of that kind of art. Great examples that I know everyone has seen are things like pigs eating themselves on BBQ restaurant signs. When I point out how nightmarish that is, it almost always results in someone doing a triple take.
Say no more.

It seems several techniques are involved. It seems a touch counterintuitive to me that steam distillation would improve shelf life… But what do I know.
None of the techniques described in a very short skim, from my limited knowledge, cause any red flags. Vacuums, distillation, etc don’t seem to be even close to say hydrogenating liquid FATS.
I’ll keep my eyes peeled.
Those are awesome. I must have seen them and forgotten. Two fisted cannibal!? ROFL
Great invader zim episode where dib, one of the characters discovers he is delicious.
Looks like removal of volatiles, especially those of polar/hydrophilic nature, by steam distillation.
Which includes the products of oil oxidation/degradation.
So this could be considered a rejuvenation of the oil.
that episode made me very uncomfortable. >:D
