We seriously need more games like this. Especially since the default with games is to take a colonialist perspective. (This is true at all scales, from first-person games to the broadest civilization-level sim games. They’re all infected with colonialist assumptions of the most overt kinds. It’s kind of breath-taking how unaware the game developers are about this.)

If you think the ignorance on the part of game devs is breathtaking, wait until you talk w/ the mass of non-natives in the US. Might wanna sit down for that.
