When staying at a hotel, tip the people who clean up after you

It is a different thing (more like a hidden fee) but yes, i (and the majority of the people i know) tend to choose places where there is no coperto everything else (including the total amout to pay) being equal.

Also now that you mention i think most of the places i visit regularly do not have it on the bill, but i have to check, i may have been rendered numb by the system!

I didn’t mean it as an offense but yes, poor poor choice on my side.
Sorry for that.

Well, personally, if someone asks me politely for something, and I can give it to them without imposing hardship on my family or friends, I do it.

So even though I don’t agree that working hard to earn tips is the same as begging, the outcome is the same.

This “bad idea” has never done me any harm, and I have never seen any evidence that it did anyone else any harm.

I have seen minors kept in the street begging because they raised more than adults, as an example.

My point is, it’s not the giving to someone that needs part per se that is bad, but it is when it becomes a system, this is what i refer when i talk about begging.
In this case when you want to help, it is better to find other ways (and it’s not easy, i know).

Switching back to tipping, i am not saying that it is the same as begging (again bad choice on my side), but when tipping becomes a system, then there is a problem.

Whatever floats your boat, dude; as long as it doesn’t “sink mine.”

And a lack of digital accolades doesn’t mess with my ‘buoyancy…’
