Commonly used in Australia is ā€œNorthwest Bum-fuckā€. Works OK here in Canada as well.

A delightful Candianism I have learnt is the expression ā€œOh, just fucking the dogā€; more-or-less meaning ā€œnot doing much worthwhile, just killing timeā€.
