I mostly agree, but i think this veers too close to saying it’s all a zero sum game.
Privilege is only that because someone else doesn’t have ready access to it. Many examples of white privilege should instead be rights for all. It’s wealthy elites who keep just about ALL public schools, for example, from being funded as well as they should be.
If primarily non-white schools were funded as well as primarily white ones, the money for doing so doesn’t have to come from the white ones-- not that I’m saying you said it should. It should come from all sorts of other places, especially the undertaxed pockets of the economically rapacious. (And again, the wealthy should pay more than they do for better funding of all public schools. And/or we in the U.S. could just, you know, spend less on the military, the police, etc.)

I suspect that the root of this is not fear of Black Americans being treated as well as Whites, but of somehow Whites being treated as badly as Blacks.
