Damn right! My wife was raised by Cubans and last year we went to Miami to meet the family. They loved me and while I wouldn’t mind living there, the whole “going to be underwater in a few years” thing is a turn off.

I get it! But also, this is the real truth.
There should be two separate lines at Starbuck’s: one for the people ordering some sort of complicated milkshake-like coffee-themed chemical-infused syrup product, and one for people just ordering coffee. Or it could just be self-serve. I spent 20 minutes in line last week for a small black coffee. You should have seen the tantrum I wanted to throw.

Sorry, but if you are drinking small black coffee at Starbucks, you’re Doing It Wrong™. Get a Nespresso - better value for money AND better coffee. The only reason for going to Starbucks and paying Starbucks prices is to have someone else do the work required by “coffee-themed chemical-infused syrup product”.

I was trapped in a theme park and rapidly decelerating. I thought Starbucks was the only coffee to be had. Once my faculties returned, I realized that I had some instant coffee packets in my backpack for exactly this reason.

I had one and was disappointed that it never really made the coffee hot enough. A call to the manufacturer offered no help. Tasty coffee but I ended up selling it on Craigslist and getting a mini percolator instead. Now my coffee is “lawsuit hot” just the way I like it!
