This. And this insane demonstration of just how corrupt right wing parties have become, is going to lead to our countries fairing very, very poorly. I think Italy and some of the other weaker European nations will be much closer to what things look like in the USA, and perhaps Canada as well.

I don’t think he’ll ever do time on federal charges. Even President Sanders won’t want to waste the political capital once he’s out the door.
My hope is that blue-state prosecutors will go after him for [choose at will from crime smorgasbord], and that he’ll end up doing time for something sordid and small that doesn’t even have the glamor of presidential-level crime.
