one trick I like to use is not hammering the nail all the way in, then it comes out easily. That’s harder to do with woodpeckers because hammering them harder gets them to stay still.
I’m thinking that this is why humans scratch the back of their heads when searching for an answer. It’s well known that the back off the brain is considered “Answerville” by neurologists… if only we could taste it.
