Yeah, except these aliens have to be visible to human eyes and cameras to be ones people have noticed…just somehow always only barely.

A big part of the reason is that Robert Bigelow managed to persuade various US senators to fund his company into researching UFOs. Basically, some UFO believers had enough money to make the US Government do what they wanted.
Probably better that than using that money to (eg) stop gun legislation, overturn Roe vs Wade, pass Citizens United, etc. etc.
What about angels? You’d think with all the bible holder-uppers that these are definitely angels sent from Jesus!
