Why (or why not) to vote for Hillary Clinton

You joke, but these exist:

They’re just not paid to be here any longer.

I dunno. They were here for almost a year. Seems like a long time to be on a payroll. They did talk about pyramids and things that you wouldn’t expect for that kind of thing. And of all the places to spend to try to stump online for Clinton, this doesn’t seem like one where there’d be much point.

It’s more gentle prodding than anything else. It’s no more mean spirited than Khepra was.

Khepra will come back when the mythical Christian solar god Jesus does.

The paid Clinton shilling started just before the primaries, so about a year ago.

This is certainly a good place to stump for Clinton. A lot of us seem to have been Bernie supporters during the primaries, and there are a fair number of Jill Stein people here as well. If you’re going to convince people to vote for Clinton, who would you rather convince: a forum full of mouth frothing conspiracy theorist Trumpalumpas, or one with a majority of Clinton supporters and sizable minority of liberals who don’t support Clinton but are fairly open minded?

If you could succeed, convincing a band of Trumpalos would be the more impressive (and more electorally useful) feat.

But convincing lefties to vote against Trump is the easier play

Eh, maybe so, I don’t know. This is a tiny forum internet-wise. If they do wander back I want to be on record as giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Christ, what an asshole.

I thought I was really breaking through and starting to get some conversation going with them in that thread, maybe starting to get to know them a bit, but no, seems that kemetic copypasta is more important. :slight_frown:

De l’audace, encore de l’audace, toujours de l’audace, fortune favors the bold!

Eh, I didn’t see anything deserving of the “CTR!” Donald Southerland-hiss around.

The new title’s my fault/credit. Buggering off as soon as the election was upon us, really really seems like he was getting paid. As for the Jesus/Kemet stuff, I’m sure that’s a genuine obsession, but it doesn’t disprove he was getting paid. Have you looked around the BBS? Exactly which operative would you send here???

It’s hard to say. If I were half as invested in Clinton as Khepra seemed to be, I could see going a bit catatonic after the election. Everybody copes in their own way, but for a true believer, this election must have stung pretty bad

I mean, my take was that Clinton seemed imperfect but pretty okay, so I had maybe 15% of Khepra’s enthusiasm. I still walked away from the election feeling gobsmacked / gutted

This election stung pretty bad for me too, and I’m not any kind of believer. This must be unthinkable for a true believer.

It seemed to me that the postings were meant to APPEAR as if they were pro-Clinton, but in such a way as to make people angry and frustrated and more likely to not vote for her if they were on the fence.

Khepra was an anti Clinton troll? Makes sense, because they made me want to vote for anyone but Clinton

Exactly.
