Dixville Notch is in:

Clinton - 4
Trump - 2
Johnson - 1
Romney (write-in) - 1

Hope that makes your evening.

I think that’s an interesting and informative spread that we’ll see a lot today: yes, Clinton wins with 50% of the vote, but that’s because the other 50% of the votes are spread between 3 or more candidates. If we look at it from the POV that many people are stating that they’ll vote AGAINST Clinton, rather than FOR a different candidate, then I think that’s exactly what we’re seeing. It means there probably won’t be a total shut-out, but at least third party candidates will work against Trump rather than Clinton.

But I’m still hoping for a shut-out, because that will have down-ticket effects.

Shouldn’t that be the “The reason for this is Legion”

Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he replied, “My name is Legion, because there are many of us inside this man” (Mark 5: 9)

Eh. It’s one of those things where the answer is debatable.

Is it “the team is ready to play,” or “the team are ready to play?”

It depends on if you’re referring to the demons as one unified whole, or as individuals in a group.

Is this where we can talk about Ben Carson building pyramids for everyone to live in when he becomes HUD secretary?

Waaaait…this isn’t the pyramid thread, is it?

It’s the Hilary Doreen Dennis Rodman Clinton one, isn’t it?

Oh well.

Traditionally, the phrasing is

My name is Legion, for we are many.

Most translators reason that such poetry can’t be improved upon. Others are determined to try.

“Objective considerations of contemporary phenomena compel the conclusion that success or failure in competitive activities exhibits no tendency to be commensurate with innate capacity, but that a considerable element of the unpredictable must invariably be taken into account.”

I hadn’t even heard the alternate “translation”, yecch. They certainly fixed it like that grandmother fixed Ecce Homo.

Why won’t khepra come out and pla-a-a-ay?

It almost seems like he’s avoiding us.

Honestly, the title change seems a bit mean-spirited to me.

I sent @khepra a PM a while ago after the election asking if they were ok and never heard back. Hope they’re doing okay.
