I’m always amused when we used to drive past Zzyzx road, never occurred to me that there would be a story associated to it beyond it’s just a name.

At Snow Summit in Big Bear CA we have a ski run by the same name. The story here about the desert road where it gets the name is apparently bs?, something about an outlaw town and a cat house.
