Why Silicon Valley doomsday preppers love New Zealand

That needs to be on posters.

At the risk of showing I’ve missed the joke - isn’t that exactly the scenario colonialism is currently used to describe.
Like , for example, Britain “colonised” North America, Africa, India, New Zealand, Australia - which all had people already there who the British were basically “mega-rich” in comparison to (from a certain point of view).

Close. As italicized in my comment, I was specifically referring to at least a 2nd round of colonization.

That’s actually exactly why I was getting confused, and figured I may of missed the joke (which I guess, I did).
Because most of the places/situations colonialism refers to were already round n+1 deep.
Just limiting it to the places I already named, it’d only be round 2 for New Zealand and Australia. The rest, including Britain, are well past that point, ASFAIK.

But, taking off my pedants pendent…
How about calling it Xzibitionialism
Because, I heard you like colonialism, so I colonised your colonies with colonial colonisers.
