Shouldn’t this be in News Gothic?
The crawl seems to be intermittent, not entirely smooth, both in fullscreen and in embedded-size box.
Otherwise an excellent idea. The news feel entirely different this way.
I have no issues with the visuals, but the concept seems rather detrimental to me. Global conflicts are neither entertaining, nor explained along dichotomies of good and evil, nor do they have a happy ending. It’s probably ok to spend one’s weekends in a Hollywood-created bubble, but I rather wouldn’t that people see the real world along those lines.
See, I read it as using that media lens as a commentary on how the news covers real stories.
