The rationale of developing AiDA is not to use AI to replace designers. What we are talking about is AI as just a supporting tool for the fashion designers.

For how long before clothesmakers realize how much money they could save by not hiring fashion designers? Just wondering.

So these AIs have figured out how hands and arms are supposed to work, have they?

When we talk about “A.I.” these days, we’re still talking about glorified Markov chains and “neural networks” mindlessly regurgitating whatever has been fed to them

… but it won’t stay that way forever

I didn’t think it was this close, but maybe we’ll see a “singularity” in our lifetime after all :robot:
