Let’s see…1,500m² x 87² =11 353 500m² So it represents ~11 square kilometers.

My personal favorite is Roadside America. https://www.roadsideamerica.co/ I’ve been going there since I was a toddler.

It’s only about half the size of this one…

This place is about 45 minutes from my house in San Diego. You can schedule a time to be an Engineer for an hour: https://www.psrm.org/efah/

Totally awesome experience for the train nerd!

The Millennium Falcon at the airport is a nice touch.

Miniature World in Victoria, BC is surprisingly awesome. I took my little ones there a number of years ago and we all had a blast. They have a working lumber mill (miniature of course). Their trains are neat, too, though not as large as this one.

We went there in June for the first time. All kinds of awesome, except getting an impatient 8-year-old through the crowds. There’s just so much standing around that she was willing to put up with to see the coolness of the Millennium Falcon taking off at the airport or the emergency services responding to one of the surprisingly many highway road accidents in the dioramas. We ended up skipping a few displays as the crowds got thicker and patience wore thinner. I would go back though.

(There are also some naughty scenes discreetly scattered among some of the dioramas as well for a more adult “Where’s Waldo” type search.)

Tried to shrink my train.

Didn’t work out so well.

Heh. Did this on purpose with an old jerry can once…
But a rail tank car? Accidental beauty.

Who dusts it? :smirk:

Probably people who sit on tiny chairs.

The owners are great guys. Most of January they offer free admission to everyone who declare that they can’t afford it.
