WWE Smackdown without an audience is a like Beckett-esque absurdist theatre

I wish they would do arcs about toxic masculinity in an absurdist humor fashion. I think the audience would eat it up.

It reminds me of evangelists preaching. Listen to what John Cena says, listen to what he repeats, the mantra - I struggled, I lost, I was down…but I persevered!!!

People watch this for the same reason they watch TV preachers.

The EXACT same reason.

all the likes for “Beckett is Beckett.” He sure is, ma’am. He sure is. And I totally would have watched that endless show with no resolution to any mystery.

“Nothing to be done.”

Wouldn’t it have been more effective to turn off the background lights? What’s the point in setting all the chairs up anyway, unless someone’s going to get every single one of them wrapped around the back of their skull.

When I was a kid, wrestling was Saturday morning cartoons.
