I’m not a resident nor ever been [yet] to New Orleans, so I would defer my opinion to locals.

That said: This feels like a great tradition to add to the mix! Doesn’t take away from the long standing parade traditions. Win-win if you ask me!

I love the spirit of New Orleans so much. If I didn’t have a core of cold hard logic, I’d move there in a flash. Doing so would melt that core, so I visit periodically to warm the edges up a bit.
