Thanks, I needed this. Yesterday, there were no parades and I was stuck in Houston without power in the coldest day seen there in decades. It was a rough Mardi Gras. Good to get a little bit of Carnival even if its already Ash Wednesday

If you’re ever in New Orleans again, I highly recommend the Backstreet Cultural Museum, in Treme. It’s in this old guy’s house. Lots of Mardi Gras black “Indian” culture and costumes. Also much Second Line paraphernalia. So many sequins!
