Not doing it seems the least bad option.
Accepting that there might be a best way to abuse is surrendering, enabling, and participating.
If opponents of forced-feeding don’t want people to say that A is less bad than B, then perhaps they might wish to avoid arguing that B is more bad than A. Because those two statements are the same.
And now we are talking about the timing of the feedings, instead of about indefinite detention in a legal no man’s land, so I guess the US govt statement about feedings is doing its job
