I waffled for 3 months about starting a Post Your “AI” “Art” Fails thread.
I had tried several times to get various “free” image generators to shit out a poster for my dream movie - Tony and Control: The Exeter Memorandum starring Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry - and the results were always hilariously bad. Like, multiple Lauries and Frys pointing guns at themselves no matter how explicitly I stated only one of each. I figured plenty of Boingers had similar things they had tried that we could share and laugh over.
But jezusfuckingchrist nothing is worth burning down a hectare of rainforest or whatever. I nixed the thread idea, and turned my back on “AI” anything, forever.
I wish the BB editors would as well.
