I was driving through Baltimore, and came across a scrolling lit sign saying “The Sisters of Mercy urge you to drive safely”. My first thoughts were “The Sisters of Mercy are together, they must be playing somewhere in Baltimore, and decided to have a kind of off-brand PSA on their billboard”, before realizing it was the name of a hospital.

It does something with the song that’s more than just novel, IMO. It splinters the song’s dour outlook with a sliver of hope and, in turn, is truly a wonderful thing.
I was never a fan of Led Zepplin but these lady rockers are awesome at it.
