Your word of the day

The officer was fully in charge
And proclaimed to one called 'Sarge’
My Jet was a shock
When I flew thru a Flock
Now you get to cleanup the Snarge

Thanks for trying, though! As luck would have it, I found the word for describing taking a duck in the face at 250 knots – it’s …:::drumroll:::… FUCKED.

“Snarge” is offered as ‘Word of the Day’,
And, on that, you could say I’m okay.
But what of invective,
And words unredemptive,
When pointing out T-Rump’s toupee?

From the context, I think it must be a purely aeronautical term. Think about it, most of the intact gore is going to fall to earth, leaving only the stickiest grue for some techie to clean up after the (hopefully uneventful) landing.

I think for terrestrial vehicles, “roadkill” is still the best term, addressing what’s left on the grill and what lies on the tarmac. Bugsplat is probably the closest equivalent, since it’s only airborne critters that leave it, though it tends toward green rather than red.

I heard the best thing for cleaning it off is a bottle of rotor wash.

Perhaps, but I like my way. A little FOOF: no snarge, no plane, no worries.
