Yeah and on top of that afaik the only way a sponsor can retaliate if you say no to a bad idea in your video is by not sponsoring you and not agreeing to be in the video. So it’s not like they could have forced him to do it even if for some reason they liked the idea.
If he names them though I imagine they might consider it defamation.

Yah, he’s playing a very dangerous game there by trying to blame the sponsor for this. They have better lawyers than he does, I bet.
As of three days ago when this came out, the video had pre-takeoff footage where he talked about spreading his friend’s ashes and plugged ridge wallets. As of today, that section is gone and it goes straight into takeoff. Not sure exactly when he changed it, but I think it’s safe to assume that they got in touch with him.
