Why the fuss? He was just trying to protect the cat from his fascist parents. The cat voted to go with him and he was just completing the annexation. People do it all the time. No big deal. It was all legal under domestic law and the police have no vested interest.

He should have been sentenced to psychiatric treatment, not prison. Doesn’t matter that he had already served the sentence.
