Glad to see this documentary. Wray is brilliant and intelligently funny (as opposed to overstated yuks-funny). Subject, observation and technique all masterful, satisfyingly fulsome and real. He has a lovely feel for painting. And it feels like this subject is congruent with his Ren and Stimpy stuff if you were to view his overall work in a kind of narrative.

Bill Wray is a real treasure. I first noticed his work at DC Comics in the late '80s, and I was really happy to see him credited in The Ren & Stimpy Show when it first premiered. His Hellboy Junior stuff is fantastic.
