I appreciate articles like these about beautiful books for children and grownups but in this case I object to the term “anti social” as it is always used in a negative context.
Often it describes loners (a term to which I don´t object) but also used to describing introverts and people with asperger.
Since the book is also about including people who seem like loners and who are different I would appreciate not using terms as “anti social” since it does not accurately describe someone as being “against society” or “against companionship” etc etc.
It is hard sometimes to seek out company when you don´t know how to as in case of the squirrel.
Kindest Regards, Victoria
