I’m a bit surprised they aren’t hosting this at the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio.
Westcot would have been so epic. Epcot had gotten dated, and I suspect they thought Westcot would be no better. Now, the revitalized Epcot is many guests’ favorite park at WDW.
Still confused about why they thought a California park would be very appealing in… California.
Probably for the same reason they have a Grand Floridan Resort in Florida. It’s a romantic fantasy version of California; from the hotel to the “Cars land” and western American themes to things like neon streets and Ferris wheels.
