Disneyland is in California. Walt Disney World is in Florida. The American Idol Experience was in Florida.

Yes, and it was specifically at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios park. (The stock photo attached to the article shows the castle from Magic Kingdom. Why not make use of an actual attraction photo from Wikipedia that’s got a creative commons license?) This idea may have been ill-conceived but at least it was located in the most thematically-appropriate park for it.
