I saw “Araki” in the photo and immediately thought of the liquor.
In the building complex near roppongi where I was last employed was a restaurant/bar/cafe that I frequented and a few times I saw Araki there in the afternoons having a coffee by himself. Staff told me that he was a semi-regular. Not wanting to particularly bother the man but feeling I wanted to acknowledge my appreciation of his work, once I did do the “excuse me, sorry to bother you, but I simply wanted to say I like your work”. He said thanks, we exchanged smiles and I was on my way back to my salaryman life.
Dull but true story.
