Loop station music seems like an exercise in limited means -- which is generally a good thing for music. My favorite practitioner is Joris Vanvinkenroye of the band Aranis. As BASTA! he has done a couple of albums comprised entirely of loop station pieces for double bass and it's beautiful stuff.

Travis and Fripp - When the Rain Falls
The chap with the guitar and large effect stack is kind of the granddaddy of all this. This ain't pure Frippertronics, but it does give a hint of what he does in his solo work. (I just chose this clip because it's pretty with the addition of Travis' flutes.)
