I hate the fuck to criticize “my” country. I’m proud – I think I’m proud – I once was proud – to be able to wave my American passport in the air and say “I’m American.”
But to see how America has devolved in so many ways since Kennedy – yep – him – held the White House, is to see a house of cards in an insanely slow-mo movie fall from twenty Royals high to a pair of deuces.
I have a choice this year whether or not to renew my US passport. I really am uncertain at this point as to whether or not I will.
