The name of the place is the Elephant Sands Lodge, so I’d assume it’s for elephants. It’s nice if they allow human customers as well, but when in Rome one must do as the elephants do.
So he’s braving the elephant-deterrent dragon’s teeth fortification-paving to get at the water? Seems like they need to improve his conditions.

I was wondering why they went with that, which obviously doesn’t work, instead of making the wall higher.
also…why not place a fresh water trough outside of the camp?
