Neat stuff. Though people should keep in mind that using an ordinary pot to demonstrate the leidenfrost effect will likely ruin the pot (the pot in the video was clearly scorching) and is a tad dangerous.

You can also start a fire with a soft drink can, and toothpaste. Soft drink cans have a concave bottom. Use the toothpaste to shine the bottom of the can to a mirror finish. You can now use it like a parabolic mirror to focus the rays of the sun enough to start a fire.
Though it’s not something I’ve tried myself, in physics class we were taught that you could boil water in a paper bag over a flame.
