…
This is one of my favorite movies. top 5.
(Fifth Element, The Birdcage, The Winter Soldier, Love Actually, Casino)
EDIT: I’m tearing up here. YOU BASTARDS!!! LOOK AWAY I’M HIDEOUS!!!
So sad that Alan Rickman passed away.
Oh my, this was delightfully unexpected.
I read about this when it aired in Britain two months ago, and I’ve been telling my wife (a huge fan of the film) that it was coming to USA TV any day now…
Kinda bummed not to see Martin Freeman, but actually not bummed to miss English guy who goes to the U.S. to get laid.
I halfway enjoyed that guy (Kris Marshall) in Death in Paradise, but like so many “murder in small town” series, it gets repetitive.
Bill Nighy is one of my favourite actors, especially in the Johnny Worricker Trilogy. He shaped my impression of how Thomas Nightingale in the Rivers of London series looks.
I do wish we could have had a scene with Alan Rickman’s picture on the mantlepiece.
