I wonder why him.
Blockquote
In 2019, this red purse was found in a narrow gap between a set of lockers and the wall at a high school in Ohio.
There’s a photo of that purse sitting in the gap between lockers - It’s plainly visible. Apparently that school had never been actually cleaned in sixty years.
The locker bank looks like it was recently shifted over, revealing the purse.
Possibly someone in her life reminded her of him? Comparing a IRL principal to Mr. Weatherbee was certainly common into the 70s or 80s, so why not? Either that or she was practicing for the lucrative Rule 34 market for Waldo Weatherbee / Geraldine Grundy stories.
There’s so many possibilities!!
Ummm, total hottie. That’s why.
… several photos, all in black and white
It was a different world
My favorite quote from my granddaughter, and one I remind her of now and again, is when we had gone for a little drive and I drove past and showed her the house in downtown Chicago I grew up in. She spent some time looking at it and then we had this epic conversation:
“You lived there?”
“Yes. It looks small now, but it was huge to me, especially when I was your age.”
“Did they change it after you left?”
“Not really. The driveway is different, but otherwise no. Why?”
“Well, it was long ago so I figured it was in black and white.”
I had to pull over. It’s an innocent world view but I was gasping for air laughing that she somehow thought color itself wasn’t invented until the 50’s or whatever.
My old high school removed all the antique lockers a couple years ago. As far as I know, nothing interesting was found, but the paint behind them was from the renovations 25 years ago, so I guess were pulled out at least once since they were installed in the 70s. There are now only a handful of lockers because students just carry a Chromebook and a binder instead of half a dozen textbooks.
There is a stain on the wall and floor where some kind of spacer the gap.
