The Nightly Show was really good. Comedy Central fucked up by canceling it.
They thought they could put another white guy in there and get Colbert’s ratings again … except Colbert hadn’t retired, he was still on the air at 11:30 p.m. every night, just on another network. CC was not going to get those viewers back no matter what they did.

The Nightly Show was doomed, regardless to ratings; it was too unapologetically critical of the government and the status quo, and it was WAY too unashamedly Black.

Did you catch The Rundown with Robin Thede? I found the format to be funnier than A Black Lady Sketch Show, but hope to see her get past one season. Networks have been making decisions that seem crazy, considering the audience reaction. Hopefully, the Fed-Uprising will get them to reconsider their choices.
