I don’t even understand the ruling. If a police officer is beating someone, and they yell “Press!” then the police need to stop beating that person - even if they are lying. The weight of ambiguity should fall on not beating members of the press, even if that means occasionally accidentally not beating someone who isn’t press.

I was watching CNN this morning and the coverage of how he’s being propped up by Fox News and various high profile Republicans - and that he has a crowdfunding page bringing in thousands of dollars. It filled me with rage.
This guy is a fucking murderer. Full stop. He brought a loaded gun to a protest knowing full well what would happen. When the inevitable happened he used this as an excuse to kill two people and seriously injure another. And now he has the nerve to declare self defense. Even if he was being “attacked”, he instigated it to begin with! Where’s the right to “self defense” for the protesters that were being shot at by a fucking agitator?
