Some of the first who should go on strike should be the public sanitation workers if the military gets deployed to the streets. If the cops and military have a problem with people chanting “I can’t breathe”; then they should be forced to work
all day and night in an environment that smells like rotting food, dog poop, used kitty litter and diapers. Let them contend with roving packs of vermin from the subways systems who poured into the streets.

Protesters need to at least take a look at what worked in Hong Kong

Allen keys, pliers, and scissors have been vital weapons in the protestor’s armory. The scissors cut cable ties securing street barriers, and the Allen keys unlock the nuts that fasten them together. This way protestors can remove obstacles and use them to build their own barricades outside police stations and other strategic spots.
