I was heartened by all the diversity in protests yesterday, but this thread shows there’s a lot of evidence of white agitators coming in just to stir shit up. I know this isn’t a shock to many of you but this thread is well worth reading.
Meanwhile, Barr is blaming antifa and left extremists for the recent riots.

I’d expand your sources a bit beyond Aziz [1]; he was pushing that line hard all yesterday, but he is in no way representative of a universal consensus. And the imagery he’s using is heavily cherry-picked.
There are class issues at play here as well; lotsa working class kids involved on the streets, and Aziz recently bought a house.

I’m sure many people have already pointed this out but there seems to be a tremendous amount of overlap between the “we need our guns in case we need to rise up against an oppressive out-of-control government” crowd and the “there’s no excuse for violent or destructive protests” crowd.
