Seems that if they were using Rotax engines (remember reports of crime rings stealing them in Europe, etc. for use in drones) freezing temps might be a problem*. Maybe they have solved that issue.
The article I posted mentions that the Iran/Russia deal was to start producing them inside of Russia. Certainly cold weather operation would be a priority.
*Cursory search shows some issues with cold weather operations. Cold starts seem to be problematic outside of warm hangers for example.

In particular, a source was quoted saying, Russian officials have snatched up property on Venezuela’s Margarita Island, where they are confident they’ll be safe from extradition.
