If we’re very lucky, the winter might decimate the Russian forces in Ukraine, and leave the survivors cold, hungry, tired and demoralized.
Edit: Oh, yes, almost forgot: probably sick, too. I’m just waiting for typhus, typhoid fever, dysentry, tuberculosis, covid and influenza to get properly going, given the abysmal levels of hygiene and shambolic medical support the Russian forces have.

Field (1.3 jumbo jets), box (0.8 jumbo jets), or women’s (1.3 to 1.7 jumbo jets)? There’s also variations of each if playing internationally. I didn’t know these facts, just felt compelled to look them up and covert to jumbo jets. 
Here in central Ontario, lacrosse is moderately popular, mostly in the box format. Makes good use of hockey rinks in the off season. Almost as fast as hockey, similar rules & tactics. Usually more goals. Quite entertaining.
I’ve never understood why it’s not more popular. It’s actually our “national summer sport”.

What a fucking weird “axis of evil” we are developing here. White supremacist, Christofascist Russia, Islamofascist, very not white Iran and also not white, all-around weird NK. They will turn on each other, of course. But they can do a lot of damage in the meantime.

Iran has been an important friend of North Korea since the Iran-Iraq War, when North Korea was one of the few countries willing to sell arms to Iran. More recently North Korea helped Iran to develop its missiles.
Iran and Russia are de facto allies already in that they are both propping up Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria.

True, but “white” as a segregated group is an evolving thing. Both Italians and Irish (going by actual skin tones, gotta be the whitest of the white) were once not considered “white.” By the standards of those who consider Putin the Great White Hope, i suspect Iranians would not make the cut. But what the hell do i know? That whole thought process is as foriegn as Iranian is to me.

Jewish people being white/not white at the whim of the white supremacists also. Maybe this alliance makes Iranians a bit more white to those people but they’ve spent a huge amount of effort in the last 70 years on the opposite project.
