2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine (Part 2)

Also, it’s not just critical talk but meaningful political opposition which ensures that lessons are learned from past mistakes. Vietnam killed the idea of sending conscripts to foreign wars, Afghanistan and Iraq discredited the idea that a ground invasion could make things better for the invaded country. When most of the world talks about Afghanistan and Iraq, it’s all about “yes, that was bad”, but only Russia thinks “why don’t we get to do that?”

I think that Google has a policy of not showing war damage in Ukraine. You won’t see any ruins in Mariupol, for instance.

FYI Use the Google Earth application to see exact day.

See lower left If you want the time of day you can do some math.

Google Earth or Maps? There’s a feature in Maps that will show you the last few pictures, but I forget if they tell you the day.

Why Alabama? Why now? Is there an inside meaning to this map? It’s old, for sure, and bears the 8 point star of Sauron.
It reminds me of this map:

More like Google-naps-on-the-job. Google naps.
