The only reason not to say he wants Ukraine to win, is because he wants Putin to win.
Putin wouldn’t even be offended if Trump said that Ukraine should win, because he would understand that Trump needed to say it for political reasons. Indeed he would welcome it if he thought that it would ensure that Trump won the election and could bring “peace”.
And yet Trump didn’t do it. He can’t bring himself to say anything positive about what he views as weak people versus strong ones, which is what he sees Ukraine versus Putin as. That bullying is “smart” and should always win is a core value for him.
Isn’t his red pen running out of ink by now?
