As much as I am pained by the destruction of cultural heritage, and as much as I know that it is deliberate, to break the will of the people, it is something that can be rebuilt. After this, Ukraine will have access to and the goodwill of a whole continent with the best historic building professionals in the world. But first we need to end this and focus on the people.
