So many Reich-Wing pundits and politicians gleefully spun their ridiculous “what was REALLY going on here” nonsense stories about an elderly man attacked by an unstable person, to the delight of Trump Cult members everywhere, including Don Jr. When we found out what actually happened, did any of them take back their “jokes”, or apologize to the Pelosi family? No they fucking did not.

It’s like too many of them watched Ozark and saw how everyone acted around the drug lord, and said “that’s how we are seen by our base. If we don’t act like that, we’re goners.”
They consistently act in a manner that mirrors TV criminals. Their moral compass is centered on a literal mob boss.
And it just keeps working. Some not-insignificant fraction of the voters sees them as “strong” instead of criminal. I’m going to keep blaming the GOP’s continued assault on public education, because nothing else makes sense.

Sure seems like DePape is a Russian patsy of some sort. Or at least, he was in a long term relationship with a Russian immigrant & broke into Pelosi’s house to strong-arm her into denying Russian involvement in the 2016 election.
But nobody’s really talking about any of that.
And he isn’t in the US legally. Any bets on whether he gets deported before or after he serves time?
