These things are very cool. I don’t really think they’re robots, though.
They don’t contain their own power source or control systems. The actual robot would be the spiffy mechatronic system that manipulates the magnetic field to move these little guys around. These are just its tools or extensions.
I knew I’d seen this before.
I had little hockey men who worked the same way when I was about 5.
