OK, so the “fix” here is that we’re going to have a much friendlier message come up, possibly with a refresh button. Everything else turns out to be kinda difficult. The core issue as illustrated in the repro is doing the same thing at the same-ish time in two places (accidentally), which is always a recipe for … interesting … outcomes.

i might just put this on a button that i can put on myself. kind of like those “if you can read this you’re too close” bumper stickers, the existential edition
